Hello! My name is Avaya Mallett, I am 20 years old and from Wisconsin! I am a passionate and dedicated designer with a strong desire to continuously grow my skill set and explore creative outlets that can enhance and elevate design solutions. With proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, I have developed a solid foundation in areas such as typography, color theory, page layout, brand design, package design, and printing.
My creative journey began with pencil drawings, bracelet-making, and the many ways a young girl might express herself. However, it wasn’t until I started analyzing the everyday visuals around me—billboards, packaging, and labels—that I thought, “Someone’s job is to make this fun to look at.” From that moment, I couldn’t help but see the world through the lens of design, constantly evaluating every alignment, color choice, and type selection. Taking my first design-related course at just 14 years old, my passion for design since has only grown.
